India 06 One By One | Hindu children rescued

India 06 One By One | Hindu children rescuedShake The Nations One By One had the privilege of funding its first orphanage in India in August 2006. A total of £2000 was donated to the building of the centre, in Rameswarem, South India.
The orphanage will house unwanted Hindu female babies, who are normally thrown out of their families and onto rubbish dumps. It is being run by Moses Paulose, a man who has suffered much persecution for Christ during more than 35 years of ministry.

God gave him a vision of a work that He wanted him to do in Rameswarem, an area known for its strict Hindu beliefs and false idol worship. The Lord made a way for him to buy a large piece of land, with the instructions to build a huge Christian training centre, church, school and an orphanage.
Evangelist Nathan Morris and his team had the privilege of visiting the land earlier this year, and plans are being made to return in the future.
Meanwhile, One by One supported the Karunya Project, a centre for the mentally disabled in the state of Tamil Nadu in South India. The project takes people off the streets, ministers the love of God to them on a practical level, before seeing them changed and set free by the power of the Holy Spirit.
