India 09 One By One | Widows’ centre supported
26 August 2009
Incredible healings and miracles took place in a meeting of about 200 widows in Coimbatore, South India.
The miracles included three partially blind women, four deaf ears opened whilst a lady who was crippled with pain in her hands, arms and legs rejoiced and danced around the room as she was healed.
During the visit to Bethel City Cathedral – pastored by David Prakasam – One By One was able to help the church’s new widows’ centre.
One By One financed the purchase of two top of the range sewing machines, which will not only give the widows a new craft but will help produce an income for the centre so it can eventually become financially independent.
Meanwhile, One By One also bought beds, wardrobes, tables, chairs and all the furniture needed to furnish the widows centre.
One By One co-ordinator Becky Murray said, ‘I thank God for His goodness in the direction and timing of everything. It is truly astounding that we can be the hands and feet of Jesus to a lost and hurting world.
‘Thank you once again to everyone who prayed or financially gave towards this work.’
