Kenya 09 One By One | Land bought for orphanage

Kenya 09 One By One | Land bought for orphanageShake The Nations One By One has purchased its first plot of land and will start building work on an orphanage in 2010.
The 2.5acre plot - located in the village of Bumala B near to Busia in Western Kenya - is in the same village where Shake The Nations held a historic Gospel campaign in 2006.
One By One co-ordinator Becky Murray said she felt God tell her to inquire about land about three weeks before the Kenya mission.
She added, ‘Three weeks before we went to Kenya, God began to burden me with buying a piece of land to build an orphanage. At this exact time Pastor Gerald Okoth (our Kenyan co-ordinator) signed the title deeds to 2.5 acres of land in Bumala B.

‘Pastor Gerald dreamed to build an orphanage on this land but didn’t have the funds. When we shared our hearts we realised God was joining us together. In 2010 we will be building our first “One by One” orphanage! I am so thrilled at all that God has done on this trip and is going to do in this land.’
Also during the trip to Kenya, One By One fed and clothed hundreds of people in remote villages of Kenya and Uganda. Many responded to the Gospel for the first time, and mighty miracles took place, including one deaf man and a partially blind lady.
