Sierra Leone 09 One By One | Two villages come to Christ

Sierra Leone 09 One By One | Two villages come to ChristTwo entire villages converted to Christianity as One By One workers preached the Gospel in un-reached regions of Sierra Leone.
As part of the hectic schedule, the team worked in six villages, two orphanages, a hospital and a disabled centre. Hundreds came to Christ throughout the mission.

Co-ordinator Becky Murray said, ‘Many of these precious people had never heard the Gospel before so it was my honour to share Jesus with them. I watched as their faces began to beam when they were told for the first time that God loved them enough to send His only Son. They clapped and cheered as the resurrection was explained to them and following the prayer of salvation many began to sing spontaneously. It was truly a sight to behold. In this particular remote village (Baguma village near Bo) there was no church so One by One planted its first church! Glory to God.’

Meanwhile, One By One also helped finance the building of a school for the first time, in the town of Bo.

Becky added, ‘Incredibly one of the first children to be considered for this school is a boy called Solomon. Amanda (One By One co-ordinator) and I met Solomon back in 2006 when he was begging on the street, he gave his heart to Jesus that year. Every year since then we have searched for him but never found him. This year he found us! So we have linked him up with Pastor Yambasu in Bo, aiming to get him in full time education again. How beautifully God works - that the very first life One by One ever impacted will now be attending the first school One by One ever funds!
‘I cant say thank you enough, firstly to God for His miraculous goodness, but also to everyone who has prayed for this trip, Thank you!!!’
