Walk in Wholeness

Through the blood of Jesus, you've been adopted into the family of God, and with that adoption comes a powerful inheritance.

"But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds," declares the Lord.

Jeremiah 30:17

Often, as Christians, we can have this preconceived idea that just because we are Christians, life will always be perfect. However, that is far from the truth. If you live long enough, you come to understand that in life, everyone faces seasons of hardship—no one is immune, not even believers. That's right, not even believers! Maybe as you're reading this right now, you are walking through one of those difficult seasons—feeling discouraged, weary, or in need of healing in your body. You may even be asking God, "Why am I going through this?" or "When will I be healed?"  Meanwhile, on the other hand, the enemy may be whispering lies to you, trying to convince you that God doesn't want to heal you or that your suffering is somehow His will.

Let me speak truth and silence the lies of the enemy: sickness is not the will of God for your life. God's heart is for you to walk in wholeness—spirit, soul, and body. Yes, that includes healing from sickness, disease, and anything else that attacks your physical body. Jesus didn't just die for your sins; He took stripes on His back so that today you could be healed (Isaiah 53:5). Through the blood of Jesus, you've been adopted into the family of God, and with that adoption comes a powerful inheritance. As a child of God, you now have access to every promise He has made—freedom, salvation, deliverance, and divine healing. You don't have to strive for it, perform for it, or prove yourself worthy of it. Healing is not a reward; it is a right that belongs to YOU through the blood of Jesus!

However, healing isn't limited to just the physical body. Scripture says, "But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds."  Health relates to the body, but wounds often speak to the heart. Many people carry deep emotional pain—wounds from betrayal, unforgiveness, bitterness, or past trauma. These inner hurts can be just as damaging as any physical illness. When Jesus went to the cross, the word says he was bruised for our iniquity. A bruise is an outward manifestation of internal bleeding. In other words, Jesus bled on the inside for every wound you would ever carry on your inside. Those inner struggles, Jesus has already paid for that healing, and it's your inheritance. You must take it and appropriate your inheritance as a son and daughter of God! Remember, God's desire is for you to be whole in every area—spirit, soul, and body. It is His will!

Today, I believe God is saying YES to your healing. Whether you're seeking physical, emotional, or mental restoration, know this: God is still in the business of healing. Now is your time to believe, to take hold of your inheritance, and to walk in faith. I believe God is releasing supernatural healing over your life in this season.

So be encouraged. Stand firm. Say YES to what is already yours.
